Lori Mellinger is a co-founder and Board President of Lioness Justice Impacted Women’s Alliance. A former newspaper writer from East Texas, her life changed after a period of addiction and mental health struggles led to incarceration. During that time, she found her purpose in supporting women navigating reentry and recovery, a commitment that continues to shape her leadership.
Lori is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community with over a decade of experience using her lived experience and professional skills to strengthen nonprofit systems and infrastructure. She currently works at RecoverPeople and is a JustLeadershipUSA Leading with Conviction™ graduate.
